A. An affiliate program is a revenue sharing program where an affiliate (you) receives a portion of income (commission) for delivering sales to a merchant website (Char4U). As an Affiliate, you'll be authorized to place text or banner links on your website to direct customers to Char4U.com. Each and every sale generated from your affiliate link will result in commission earned.
Q. Is it free to join?
A. Signing up to the Char4u affiliate program is 100% free. If you decide that the program is not right for you, you can cancel at any time with no obligation or risk.
Q. Who can participate?
A. Anyone with a website can join the affiliate program. By filling out the affiliate signup form you will automatically become a Char4U affiliate. We do check your website's content to make sure it is appropriate for our visitors.
Q. How does the program work?
A. After signing up for the program you will receive a unique affiliate url which you will use to advertise our website. When someone clicks through this url a cookie will be set in their browser with your affiliate ID. During that visit to our website or any later visit, when a purchase is made the commission will be given based on the existence of the cookie.
Q. How do I use the affiliate link to promote Char4U?
A. You may use graphic and text links both on your website and in emails. Char4U may also be advertised "offline" in classified ads, magazines, and newpapers. You may use the graphics and text provided to you by Char4U, or you may create your own as long as they are deemed appropriate.
Q. Why do I need a PayPal account to get paid of my affiliate commissions?
A. Char4U pays affiliate commissions only through PayPal. If you don't already have one it's easy to set up and, what's more, it's FREE to join PayPal.
Q. How much money do I earn per sale?
A. You will be paid commissions for every sale generated from your affiliate link. This commission will be 20% of the final purchase price.
Q. Why does Char4U wait 30 days to pay my affiliate commissions?
A. Approximately 30 days following the end of each month, we will send the referral fees earned during that month through PayPal with a minimum required commission value of $25.00 for payment. All commissions under $25 will roll forward to the following month. We have a generous 30-day return policy. The 30 day payment period allows us to calculate and subtract any returned sales. If a customer you referred to us made a sale and returned the item within 30 days, that amount will be deducted from your commissions.

A. Yes, you can monitor sales, earned commissioins and other information from within your affiliate account.
